Radka Gicheva has been creating bespoke paintings for collectors across Dubai and the wider UAE for years. Her commissions hang in villas on Palm Jumeirah, penthouses in Downtown Dubai, offices in DIFC and boutique hotels in Abu Dhabi, and have travelled to collectors in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. Each began as a conversation — a WhatsApp message, an email, a studio visit — and ended as a unique work of art that exists nowhere else.
The process is collaborative and transparent. It starts with your room: its dimensions, light and existing palette, and the mood you want — calm and contemplative, bold and energetic, warm or cool. Some clients arrive with Pinterest boards and fabric swatches; others simply describe a feeling. Both work.
From there Radka develops a concept and custom colour palette, shares reference samples, and only begins on canvas once you are both excited about the direction. Every commission is signed on the front and back, finished with two coats of varnish, and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity and a personal note. Concept & Palette
I develop a tailored concept and colour palette based on your brief. You will receive digital reference samples and style notes so we can refine the direction together before any paint touches canvas.
Size & Quote
Once we agree on the concept, I propose the ideal dimensions for your space and provide a detailed quote. Pricing is based on size and complexity. A 50% deposit secures your place in my schedule.
The Creation
Your painting is built in layers over several weeks using acrylics, inks, pastels, and mixed media. I share a progress update midway so you can see your piece come to life. Every layer adds depth, texture, and emotion.
Delivery
Upon completion, I send you final images for approval. The remaining balance is due before delivery. Your original artwork is carefully packaged and shipped worldwide — or hand-delivered in the UAE.

Any size — from intimate 30 × 40 cm pieces to large statement works over 150 cm, including diptychs and triptychs. Radka recommends dimensions that suit your wall and room proportions.
Is it really one-of-a-kind?
Yes. Every commission is an original, hand-painted artwork signed on the front and back. It will never be reproduced or printed, and you receive a Certificate of Authenticity with every piece.
What if I do not like the finished painting?
Because commissions are bespoke and made to order, they cannot be returned or cancelled once work has begun. The midway progress review is your opportunity to request adjustments to colour, composition or texture before the final layers are applied.
Can I commission a painting if I am not in Dubai?
Absolutely. Most of the process happens over WhatsApp and email, and Radka has completed commissions for collectors in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States as well as across the UAE. Finished paintings are shipped worldwide with professional art couriers, fully insured and tracked.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Paintings are wrapped in protective layers and packed in custom-built wooden crates for larger works. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on destination and size. Hand delivery is available across Dubai.
